I saw the description and my first thought was that this would be just as shitty as some other low budget films I've seen.however, I must confess, I was taken aback by how good it was. The camera and both diegetic and non-diegetic sounds were on point. The plot was generic, but with some creative spins to it which I thoroughly enjoyed. What was done with the low budget was also impressive. The acting was above average for a low budget and give or take a few superfluous scenes, a few poor choices in terms of sound and plot and the only piece of bad voice acting towards the very end of the movie, this was a success. Keep in mind that I'm not rating this on the same scale I would rate a professional movie.and I would only consider this professional quality if I would have given it a 10/10 (which would be perfect across the board). But an 8, from me, is a success and a good film. ![]() ![]() ![]() Billboard.com Jaden Smith Walks Met Gala 2017 Red Carpet With Fistful of His Own. 1240 × 1860 - 1473k - jpg gettyimages.com Jaden Smith Stock Photos and Pictures| Getty Images 407 × 612 - 29k youtube.com Best Of Jaden Smith & Willow Smith's Casual Style - 2017 - YouTube 1280 × 720 - 454k - jpg gettyimages.com Children Of Will Smith, Willow And Jaden Look Very Similar During. 903 × 1024 - 653k justjared.com Alicia Vikander & Jaden Smith Support Louis Vuitton at Cruise. 300 × 300 - 36k - jpg justjared.com Alicia Vikander & Jaden Smith Support Louis Vuitton at Cruise. 817 × 1222 - 257k - jpg vogue.com Jaden Smith Fashion, News, Photos and Videos - Vogue 2928 × 2928 - 984k - jpg pinterest.com Jaden Smith from Met Gala 2017: Best Dressed Stars| Jaden smith. 634 × 1024 - 65k - jpg thesun.co.uk Will Smith's son Jaden reveals he's quit LA after doing 'stupid. 639 × 960 - 88k - jpg gettyimages.com Willow Smith Stock Photos and Pictures| Getty Images 408 × 612 - 57k justjared.com Jaden Smith Debuts Green Hair at EMA Awards 2017!: Photo 3963339. I am very happy and excited after having watched this episode, the cliffhanger was painful but on point.! The Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Room from the Alice S. Kandell Collection. Tibet, China and Mongolia, 13th–20th century. Kandell Collection/Smithsonian Freer and Sackler Galleries) The exhibition also features video of religious practice at the Great Stupas, giant domed temples in Sri Lanka, and a room that recalls a Tibetan Buddhist shrine, with dozens of objects arrayed in a dizzying display of color and texture, metalwork, tapestry, furniture and painted materials. A touch screen outside the temple space explains much of what is on view. [] One wonders what Freer might make of all of this. He’d probably find it a tad unpoetical, and even jarring, and perhaps he’d balk at the juxtaposition of an elegantly made bronze Buddha from Thailand or Cambodia, crowned and regal, with a small figure of a rather sad and tattered bodhisattva from the 7th century. Neither conforms to the usual expectations of how these figures would be represented, and from a purely visual point of view, they aren’t happy in proximity. But the point is deftly made: The Buddhist tradition is so rich and manifold that for every rule there is an almost inevitable exception. If that is the only axiom gleaned from a visit to this exhibition, then the visit wasn’t in waste. But audiences will probably come away with a lot more, and perhaps a more firm and navigable mental map of the Buddhist world. The exhibition, like other installations at the refurbished Freer, give one both a sense of the world, and permission to find it more than a little confusing. That’s a good first step for further exploration. The Freer and Sackler Galleries For more information about visiting the reopened Freer/Sackler galleries, visit. Over the course of two and a half seasons Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) has schemed and struggled and stumbled in her quest to achieve what she thinks will finally unlock. Comedy A young woman abandons a choice job at a law firm and her life in New York in an attempt to find happiness in the unlikely locale of West Covina, California. Want to know how serious Rebecca is about taking down Josh Chan this season on? Her new hair color is a pretty good hint. Yes, Rebecca’s hair is a few shades darker this season and so are her motives. The CW’s musical comedy kicks off Season 3 this Friday (9/8c) with its heroine plotting to destroy the former love of her life after he ditched her at the altar in last season’s finale. “I want to bring him down in any way I can,” star Rachel Bloom tells TVLine, referring to Rebecca’s quest for vengeance. “It’s a very guttural, visceral thing.” RELATED “I think it’s our funniest season, but it’s definitely our most intense, emotionally,” showrunner Aline Brosh McKenna previews. “It kind of feels like we’re finally getting to the really meaty heart of this dynamic this is definitely the revenge part of the ‘crazy ex’ concept. The vengeful part.” And if you thought Rebecca was a little nutty in years past, fasten your seatbelts, she warns: “Her car was barely on the rails for most of [Season] 2, and now it really is starting to get off the rails.”. Of course, if Rebecca were truly over Josh, she wouldn’t be dedicating her life to ruining his. Her hate for Josh isn’t all that different than her love for Josh, McKenna notes: “When you’re obsessed with that person to the point where you hate them, you’re still in a very fiery, intimate zone with them.” And Rebecca proves that in Season 3, taking her desire for revenge to dangerous extremes that even worry her closest friends. VIDEOS When the season opens, in fact, Rebecca is nowhere to be found. Friday’s premiere features a Disney-style opening number with the citizens of West Covina buzzing about her whereabouts. McKenna calls it “a curtain-raiser on the second act of the Rebecca Bunch story it’s kind of a big, around-the-world song, and everybody’s sort of gossiping and speculating about her.” But what about all those other West Covina residents, hmmm? McKenna also fills us in on what’s on tap for the rest of the Crazy Ex cast this season: JOSH| Rebecca’s ex fled from her into the welcoming arms of the priesthood but he may have bitten off more than he can chew. (OK, he definitely did.) “He has a very romantic idea of what being a priest is,” McKenna says, but “it’s not something where you run off and join the Land of Unicorns. It’s something where you do hard work, and you get a Master’s in Divinity. It can take six years, eight years. So Josh is going to be confronted with the reality of what it actually takes to be a priest.” NATHANIEL| Rebecca and her new boss shared an intimate moment in the elevator last season and he’s still thinking about it, co-star Scott Michael Foster hints. “He couldn’t shake the thought of Rebecca, and the kiss in the elevator and I think it’s even more so this season. He hasn’t had feelings like this before, and he’s confused by them.” But McKenna cautions that Rebecca’s obsession with destroying Josh is blinding her to any potential romance with Nathaniel: “No matter what great things she and Nathaniel might have, she really is unable to see it.” VIDEOS PAULA, HEATHER AND VALENCIA| Rebecca’s “girl group” is onboard with her plan to ruin Josh Chan, and them combining forces is a “huge part of this season,” McKenna says. It’s personal for Paula, she adds: “Male misbehavior really enflames Paula. And later this season, we’re going to find out why.” But Rebecca hasn’t been completely honest with Paula about her past, and “that will eventually come up and cause some problems for them,” McKenna teases, “because Rebecca claims to be this sort of innocent victim [and] the audience knows that’s not exactly right.”. DARRYL & WHITE JOSH| This mismatched couple is definitely a fan favorite, but McKenna says Darryl’s urge to have another kid leads to growing pains for them in Season 3: “There’s sometimes a temptation to take happy couples and park them in the corner, and have them just be the engine of adorableness. But these are grown men with a complicated relationship all the love relationships on the show are really bumpy and complicated, and theirs is no exception.” OK, fine as long as we get a great Darryl solo ballad out of it. The eclipse is bound to be. But since the moon will completely () cover the sun, it will pose challenges for the nation's power grids. In Oregon at 10:16 am PT and end in South Carolina at 2:49 pm ET. That’s an hour and 33 minutes to go from coast-to-coast. But in any one city, the whole process of the eclipse (whether the sun is totally or partially covered) will last for around two hours. That means a great loss in solar power. The MDA Weather Service that solar generation potential will decrease to less than 50% of capacity nationwide. In California, the eclipse is expected to wipe out six gigawatts of solar electricity, according to, the operator responsible for 80% of the state's power. Six gigawatts is enough to power several million homes. In 2017, solar facilities, ranging from utility power plants to individual PV panels, provided electricity for 4.8 million homes. Solar electric panels are shown installed on the roof of the Hanover Olympic building, the first building to offer individual solar-powered net-zero apartments in Los Angeles, California, U.S., June 6, 2017. Reuters and are close to the path of totality — like California, North Carolina, and Utah — will need to use a combination of other energy sources to make up the difference, like natural gas, wind, and hydropower. Deane Lyon, a real-time service shift manager at CAISO, told Business Insider that his team has been preparing for the eclipse for the last year and a half. While he doesn't expect any blackouts in California or elsewhere, he said the eclipse will demonstrate the importance of solar generation to the nation's grids. EIA expects the share of U.S. Total utility-scale electricity generation from natural gas will fall from an average of 34% in 2016 to about 31% in 2017 as a result of higher natural gas prices and increased generation from renewables and coal. Coal's forecast generation share rises from 30% last year to 31%. Compare electricity rates and prices (updated 2017) in the United States. In deregulated markets we offer both rates and plans from local providers. 'We're making extra special preparations for this day, because we don't typically lose [six gigawatts] of solar energy over an hour and 20 minutes,' he said. In northern California (an area close to the path of totality), CAISO expects the eclipse to obscure 75% of the sun. Lyon's team will receive electric data from the grid's generators every four seconds, so it can monitor substantial declines in solar power. In addition to the sunlight loss, CAISO is considering other consequences of the eclipse that could affect the grid in California. If you're in the moon's shadow, the sky will go completely dark for a few minutes in the afternoon, NASA. And the temperature will drop. As a result, Lyon said he expects some street, house, and building lights to turn on during the eclipse, and for some Californians to shut off their air conditioners (depending on the temperature). The former scenario would increase demand, while the latter scenario would reduce strain. He also predicts that many people will treat the eclipse as a 'pseudo holiday' and either close their businesses for a few hours or stay home to watch the eclipse. This would decrease strain on the grid, since they would be using less electricity than a normal workday. Lyon said that other states, especially ones in the path of totality, can expect similar effects. Energy Information Administration, Preliminary Monthly Electric Generator Inventory and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Scientific Visualization Studio Since America's last total solar eclipse in 1979, the country has become much more dependent on solar to power their businesses and homes. Just in the past decade, solar energy has grown by an average of 68% annually, with nearly 45 gigawatts of solar capacity now installed, the Solar Energy Industries Association. On August 21, the total solar eclipse a 70-mile-wide band of the country, stretching from the northwest to the southeast US. Those near Nashville, Tennessee and Salem, Oregon will see the eclipse in its totality. Others will see a partial eclipse, but everyone in the US — from Maine to Alaska — will be able to experience it,. For most of the US, the eclipse will happen around lunchtime. (The exact time also depends on your location.) The map below shows how the eclipse could affect solar capacity in each US state plus Canada. The ones shaded dark blue will likely be the ones who experience the largest impact. North American Electric Reliability Corporation In total, the federal Energy Information Administration the event to affect 1,900 utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants nationwide. As a result, there could be some price increases for electricity during the eclipse, since natural gas than solar in many states, Lyon added. ![]() Are preparing for the upcoming eclipse in similar ways to California: by switching to other forms of power. As Vox, North Carolina — second to California in installed solar capacity — is expecting a drop in solar output from 2.5 GW to 0.2 GW for 1.5 hours during the eclipse. 'Operators will have natural gas plants ready to step in during the eclipse. In addition to replacing the lost energy with a flexible fuel source, operators can gradually decrease solar production before the sky darkens depending on weather conditions,' Duke Energy, which manages over 75% of solar power generation in North Carolina, in a blog post. On the back-end of CAISO's grid in California, Lyon and his team will manage a complex balancing act during the eclipse. On the bright side, he said, they've known for a while that it's coming. In instances when the state had spontaneous blackouts, like when and 1, grid operators didn't have that luxury. ![]() |
